AKA: Steve Emberton, Dad

Dad was born in Idaho, USA, where he spent his time admiring the scenery and working in the American Air Force. One day he decided to leave the States for the greener pastures of England, presumably because he really liked… er, drizzle. Moving to England was a bit of a culture shock for Steve. After six weeks he cottoned on that you are not supposed to hunt down and kill your lunch, but pop down to Sainsbury’s instead. On a chance encounter, backstage at a Queen concert Dad met Mum. It was love at first sight (if only the feeling had been mutual they could have saved a lot of time). Sometime after it snowed some white stuff, and Steve and Julie were wed.
